Confirmed: Alerts in Apple’s new iOS6. This is kinda cool. Now iOS users will get notified if there is emergency alerts or even Presidential alerts. Nice article that explains why this was done. To think that an iPhone might save your life one day due to this alert! Wow! Thanks Apple.
